This is going to be real short because I have important things to do…like finish my last Spanish ensayo. I got rear ended last week but don’t let it fool you. It’s $1900 worth of damage. Dealing with the girls’ insurance company has pretty much been the worst nightmare of my short adult life. Today I finally got the check for the damage and they had it made out to “Ezizabeth” and then my last name started with an S and was missing an E. It took me 30 minutes at the bank to deposit it but they did it thankfully. Last night, while I was thinking about it, I realized that I had been letting this situation steal my joy but my joy doesn’t depend on my circumstances. My joy comes from the Lord.
