Okay. We have a family tradition going now. Seriously, I now think about these pictures all year. I have several themes lined up that we could do.
Last year, we confused the heck out of everyone by posing in pictures with our “Korean son”, who is really just an international student that lived with us for a few weeks. This year, we decided to keep it all in the family and took pictures with my parents and sister and brother-in-law.
The theme? Ugly sweaters and weird hair. We had to work hard at making it just weird enough that people would know something was up but not weird enough that they would be 100% sure. You can imagine that we caused quite a stir at the department store picture studio where we took the pics. Incidentally, I prayed that we would have a cool photographer who got it and God delivered. We walked into the studio and she immediately started directing us. It was incredible.
